Youth Enrichment Programs

Thank you for your interest in employment with the Hui Mālama O Ke Kai Foundation (HMKF) in Waimānalo, Hawai‘i which is an indigenous Hawaiian culture-based youth leadership and identity driven program. The core program of HMKF is an after-school program for 5th-12th graders.

Below please find general information for the available position of Kākoʻo - Assistant/Program Support for the HMKF Keiki/ʻŌpio Program and ʻOhana Program. Please note that all positions are open until filled; however, completed application packets that are received as soon as possible will receive priority screening. 
 
PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT ALL POSITIONS ARE GRANT FUNDED.   

The open position includes the following benefit package:

Kākoʻo - Assistant/Program Support
Primarily supports ʻŌpio Program (grades 7 - 12) and occasionally supports Keiki and ʻOhana Program

Responsible for serving as the Lead's assistant and support staff for the HMKF Keiki Program and 'Ohana Program. These are 'āina-based, kai-based, outdoor, after-school programs.

Position Status: Full-Time & Part-Time Availability, Non-Exempt (Hourly), 11 Months
