Summer Activities

Kau Wela Leʻaleʻa at Hui Mālama O Ke Kai is a free, 4 week summer program open to upcoming 5th through 8th grade students. Unlike our regular program year, kau wela leʻaleʻa is open to haumāna island wide and provides all day care from 8 am till 2 pm, Monday through Friday. In the past, we've visited places like Pāhonu, Paepae O Heʻeia Fishponds and Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi. Our keiki and ʻōpio are expected to hōʻihi (be respectful) and paʻahana (work hard) as we focus our lesson plans on cultural learning, reading, math and physical activity. Our Summer program is from June 05-June 30 this year.
